A moving bed biofilm reactor is a biological wastewater treatment process, which means it is a natural process that uses biofilms to remove waste from wastewater. Microorganisms attach to the media in the water and consume unwanted waste, making the water cleaner.
This technology emerged in Norway in the late 1980s and has become a popular wastewater treatment method due to some of the significant benefits it offers.
